The Service is operated by Macrokiosk Taiwan (hereinafter referred to as “the Website”), and both the Service and the Website’s products are governed by these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as “the Terms”). Before registering as a member, general visitors, in addition to not enjoying member rights, are not provided with features to manage individual privacy settings or access history within the Service.

Upon completion of registration, you are deemed to have guaranteed to the Website that you have obtained the prior consent of your legal agent or guardian.

Member Rights

Upon registering as a member of the Service, the Service provides the following free services, including but not limited to: member account management and email newsletter subscription.

If a member of the Service wishes to use paid products and services, the rights and obligations of both parties shall be separately stipulated according to the specific product and service plan terms. The member must read the paid content service terms and complete the ordering process before being entitled to the paid products and services.

Account Security

The Website currently uses Google/Facebook/Apple third-party login features and does not record login passwords or any data during the login process.

If you discover that your member account or password has been illegally stolen, misused, or if you discover security vulnerabilities in the Website’s network management, you should notify the Website immediately and assist in providing specific evidence. However, any corresponding measures taken by the Website are solely for the purpose of safeguarding member rights and do not constitute any express or implied guarantee or compensation liability to you. The Website is not liable for compensation should a member’s account and password be illegally used by others.

If you use a public computer or related equipment to access the Service, please log out of your member account after use. The Website cannot and will not be responsible for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this provision.

User Conduct

The Service and the Website are public spaces, and you are solely responsible for all legal liabilities associated with your actions on the Service and the Website. You are fully responsible for the text, images, photos, music, videos, software, messages, data, and any content you send to other members posted on the Service and the Website (hereinafter referred to as “User Content”). • You may not claim or use computer programs or other equipment methods to pretend to be associated with the Service, the Website, or other services, thereby misleading others to visit other websites.

Indemnity

Provided Services

1. Video Courses: Members may purchase “time-limited” or “permanent viewing” video course content on the Website through a one-time payment. After the online course “starts,” members can select the course units they wish to watch for learning. After the viewing period for time-limited courses expires, members will not be able to continue watching and must repurchase the audiovisual use right for the course.

2. Subscription Columns: Members may subscribe to and view the knowledge content of the project initiator on the Website through “periodic” payments. The audiovisual permission period for one paid subscription term is 30 days. If the “renewal” is not completed before the 30-day expiration, the member will lose the right to use and view the column.

Transaction Behavior and Refund Policy

1. When a member purchases a paid course provided by the Website, they should follow the mechanism provided by the Website for confirming the quantity and price of the goods.

2. When a member purchases a paid course provided by the Website, they may exercise their rights in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law. When doubts arise regarding these Terms of Service due to a member’s transaction behavior, the interpretation should be favorable to the consumer.

3. According to Article 19, Paragraph 1 of the Consumer Protection Law, digital content or services can be viewed immediately upon provision to the consumer. Therefore, it does not fall within the scope of the 7-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Protection Law. Please understand the course content through the trial video before confirming payment.

4. Regarding the “Content Subscription” (Column) provided by the Website: Since all content of the column can be viewed immediately upon payment for the subscription, and even if the next subscription is canceled, you will be given the full reading permission for one term (30 days), the Website will not process refund requests based on personal reasons.

5. Following the above, if there is a legitimate reason to apply for a refund, please submit the refund application via “email ([email protected]).” To strictly confirm identity, please use the email address associated with the account used to purchase the Website’s courses. After confirming eligibility for the refund as described above, send an email to the customer service mailbox explaining the reason for the refund, follow the instructions and regulations to complete the refund procedure, and await the Website’s completion of the refund process. The format for the refund application email is as follows:

6. Following the above, the standard for determining whether the refund time is overdue will be based on the “time the refund application email was sent.”

Miscellaneous

These Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and other related terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Website and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and the Website.

If any part or provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

The interpretation and application of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). In case of a dispute, both parties agree to first negotiate in good faith. Should negotiation fail and legal action is required, both parties agree that the Taiwan Taipei District Court shall be the court of first instance jurisdiction.
